The cost optimized ESX IOT is available in four predefined variants with each variant allowing configuration of inputs by software. One of the variants comes with Bluetooth LE v5.1 and internal antenna enabling access to machine without a physical connector.
ABOUT ESX IOT I/O-unit ()
ESX IOT works as a CAN slave module and extends the I/O capabilities of a central control unit. Placed close to sensors or actuators the I/O unit helps to reduce installation effort and the cost and weight in the system. It fulfills safety requirements (PL b) and fits perfectly into off-road machinery used in agriculture, forestry, construction, mining, or municipal applications. Integration in STW’s openSYDE software tool ensures intuitive system design.
