DRIVE consists of a product portfolio of hardware modules and associated development tools. You will find everything from mobile controllers, I/O units, displays, keypads and rotary controls for use in CAN-based machines for controlling work hydraulics, drive train, driver interface and electrical systems.
Our product portfolio covers the entire spectrum of control of complete machine, subsystems and/or attachments, whether it be a low or high degree of complexity. By offering customized solutions based on standardized, configurable modules, we can enable short lead times from concept to the finished system for the desired control functionality.

The control modules in Dasa DRIVE cover a wide range of needs ranging from compact controllers for the smaller machine or attachment to an expandable, scalable system for the larger professional machines. Below you find an overwiew of our mobile controllers covering all your needs from Functional Safety (SIL2/PLd) to less demanding applications.
The I/O-units within Dasa DRIVE are compact, robust logical expansion modules that you add to your control system as and when the functional evolution occurs. They offer in-/outputs with diagnostic functions, short circuit and surge protection. Direct control of PWM valves and automatic connection recognition are some examples of functionality you will find in our I/O units. All configurable via software. There are also modules with support for Functional Safety (SIL2/PLd) and a cost effective, safe CANopen Safety Connection.
Intelligent Electrical Systems
The dBCX-series is a modular system-kit that flexibly can be tailored to your specific needs within smart and intelligent electrical systems. With the dBCX modules you cover everything from passive relay and fuse boards to active and intelligent electrical system solutions where you can integrate with your control system functionality (PLC). The modules are connected to the machine’s CAN bus network. This is a very interesting set of modules in decentralised and integrated machine architectures!
System Lifecycle Support
openSYDE is a framework and a tool for design, implementation, analysis, maintenance and documentation of functions and software in control systems for professional, mobile working machines. openSYDE is in many ways unique with its open approach: open, customisable interfaces to other development tools such as requirements management software and even integration of hardware modules from other vendors! Everything doesn’t have to come from the same source, be it the hardware or the software/tools you are using in your product development process. openSYDE enables with its user-friendly graphical interface an efficient realisation of applications that require Functional Safety in a open development environment, no vendor lock-in here.
