What is a log bucking system? A log bucking system enables a harvester to precisely measure and cut logs into optimal lengths and diameters, thereby maximizing value, and reducing waste.

What’s the difference between the wireless and wired log bucking solutions? The wireless option (Wireless 1) removes data-cables entirely to avoid cable wear with increased uptime. The wired system (Wired 7) uses a dedicated data cable over the crane for robust communication with very fast response time.

Can the system be installed on both harvesters and forwarders? Yes. Dasa’s bucking systems are designed for both harvesters and forestry forwarders, there are different systems in the two machine types.
