Newly Developed Hardware
The newly developed hardware of the SMX.dms-as strain sensor allows for a lower housing height. The mounting points are identical to its predecessor, enabling a seamless transition in existing applications. As before, both an analog and a digital output are available. Additionally, the STW open-source software platform openSYDE is supported, allowing for easy integration into existing systems and sensor deployment.
Optimized Connection Technology
Conventional strain sensors are typically difficult to install and commission. Thanks to its optimized connection technology, Dasa’s strain sensor is better suited for such tasks, and the installation of SMX.dms can easily be integrated into the production process of, for example, mobile machinery. The sensor is designed either for direct mounting or can be supplied pre-assembled with a custom mounting plate.
Easy Maintenance
For maintenance, the sensor can be easily replaced on-site. Once the configuration data is applied, the new sensor can be put into operation without further adjustments, meaning the system is ready to run again in a very short time.
